What to expect at your first visit

 

We like to help our New Patients be prepared for their first visit with our practice. If you would kindly click on the following link: complete registration forms, it will allow you the complete our Health and Registration Forms on line. Once you have completed the forms, you will be notified and we will contact you to schedule the appropriate appointment.

New patient exams

Adults (over the age of 30), are seen by the doctor for their first visit with our practice. The appointment is 1 hour and 15 minutes in duration, as long as the online forms have been completed. We will update x-rays and take intra-oral camera pictures. If you are currently under the care of a provider, please have records forwarded to us. If the x-rays are not current or of diagnostic quality, it will be necessary to update them. The doctor will spend the remaining time of the appointment providing a comprehensive examination, reviewing the x-rays and camera pictures, and discuss any recommended treatment. We will be advised of the appropriate time to schedule for a return hygiene appointment.

You may be scheduled to return for a consultation with the doctor, if a treatment plan is necessary.

 

Children/Adults (to age 30), are seen for their first visit with the hygienist. The appointment can be 45 minutes to 1 hour in duration, as long as the online forms have been completed. We will update x-rays and take intra-oral camera pictures. If you are currently under the care of a provider, please have records forwarded to us. If the x-rays are not current or of diagnostic quality, it will be necessary to update them. The doctor will provide a comprehensive exam, and review any x-rays or camera pictures, and if treatment is necessary, discuss and advise the appropriate amount of time for the return visit.
